My weekend in Venice

I was completely mesmerised by Venice’s rustic beauty . A city can appear so different in a photograph, but strolling along the cobblestone streets, from Piazza San Marco to Campo Santa Margherita, was like flicking through an old album of architectural picture perfection. The boy and I spent most of our time exploring, taking still memories of idyllic buildings, or sitting with the locals inside cafes, sipping espresso, without a care in the world. There is something so enchanting about Venice, especially in the winter, when most of the streets are empty, the water still, and an eery silence surrounds you.
